Cake size information

See below for details on cake servings and portion size. Party portions are generally used with celebration cake whereas finger portions are used with wedding cakes. This is not a rule but can help you determine what size cake to order. Oh Sugah! cakes are 3 layers of cake, 2 layers of filling and stand 5-6" tall. Tiered/stacked cakes range from 2-6 levels of different size cakes, e.g. 4"/6", 4"/6"/8", 8"/10"/12", 4"/6"/8"/10", etc This is guided by your design.

The above is a general guideline for round cake sizes and servings. How you cut your cake and how large you cut your slices will affect the number of servings. Square cakes are available; each square cake will serve an additional 4-6 guests compared to the above. Heart cakes are available as well.

Tiered cakes are all internally supported with dowels. All cakes are presenteed on a sturdy cake drum wih coordinating ribbon trim. Kitchen cakes are available upon request with wedding cake orders. These are generally 1/2 a sheet cake and have simple coordinating decoration.

Cake pricing information

Single Tier 4-12" round cakes

Generally $6-8 per serving depending on complexity of decoration. Refer to the above diagram for # of servings.

Tall/Barrel cakes

Generally $6-8 per serving depending on complexity of design. These cakes are generally 6-7 layers and stand 12-14" tall (2 cakes stacked 1 on top of the other). Available in 6-10" rounds. They are doweled for internal support.

Single tier 4-12" square cakes

Generally $7-9 per serving depending on complexity of decoration. Refer to the above diagram adding 4-6 more portions to the above # of servings.

Delivery fee

Cakes are available for pick up at Oh Sugah! Delivery within 20 miles is available for an additional $25.00. Delivery of wedding cakes is required and is $75.00

Tiered cakes

Pricing starts at $8 per serving for round tiers, $9 per serving for square tiers and increases depending on complexity of design/decoration. All stacked cakes are dowelled for internal support.

Packaging

All cakes are boxed and wrapped for safe travel. They should be refrigerated promptly to maintain their freshness and integrity. Instructions for cake storage, serving and cutting are included.
